What a night! Thank you to all the folks in the Third Ward who turned out to vote yesterday. We ran a great campaign and I am so deeply grateful to friends (old and new!) who committed their time and energy to get behind our vision of a balanced Ann Arbor. Whether you gave me a much needed kind word, dropped door hangers, took a yard sign, made phone calls, attended (or hosted!) a neighborhood coffee, made a financial contribution, or just watched and listened and decided to vote - Thank You. I am humbled by your collective confidence and so excited to get to work.
I would like too to acknowledge Stephen Kunselman. Stephen ran an honorable, committed campaign that reflected his years of principled service. I know that Stephen is wholly dedicated to our City and look forward to working with him on a smooth transition to ensure the continued representation of the whole Third Ward.
Finally, and most importantly, I would like to thank my family for their constant love and enthusiasm and labors during the campaign - my wife, Eva Rosenwald; our children, Henry and Ruby; my parents, Mickey and Ellen; my brother, Andrew; my in-laws, Gay and George Rosenwald; my sister- and brother-in-law Steve and Julie Hathaway; and others (Nancy & Will!). Without them, none of this happens. Without them, I couldn’t even try. Thank you.
I am pleased and grateful to have received the endorsement of:

- Washtenaw County Commissioner Leah Gunn
